Wendy Dalpez, Career Ownership Coach/Franchise Owner at The Entrepreneur’s Source, joins networking organization
CHICAGO – August 3, 2021 – (Newswire.com) – The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Wendy Dalpez as a 2021-2022 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with more than 100 local chapters, International Chapters and 1,000+ in-person and virtual events.

After a successful 25-year career in newspaper publishing, Wendy Dalpez was looking to make a change in her professional life. She knew she wanted to own a business that allowed her to provide value to other people but wasn’t sure where to start. Then she met a Career Coach who introduced her to The Entrepreneur’s Source. Ms. Dalpez said, “She helped me identify my unique talents and better understand my personal goals.”

Realizing how important it was to have someone in her corner coaching her, Ms. Dalpez become a Career Ownership Coach as well as a Franchise Owner over eight years ago. “I help people going through a career transition to consider entrepreneurial pursuits for their future careers,” she said. “I guide them through a series of coaching sessions and help them discover opportunities that have the potential to hit their goals. I offer a safe space to explore and ask questions – I don’t sell business opportunities. My main goal is to match people to the resources they need to help them find their path to self-sufficiency.”

Ms. Dalpez is an active listener and excellent connector and uses these critical skills in her practice. “I love to listen to their stories, their needs and connect them to the resources or people they need to improve their situation,” she said.

While she admits career ownership coaching can sometimes be challenging, Ms. Dalpez is delighted when she hears from a client who has taken the bold step toward entrepreneurship. “It is so rewarding when clients tell me they are achieving their goals and that I made a difference in their lives,” she said. “To me, there is nothing better than helping someone achieve their goals.”

In the future, Ms. Dalpez hopes to continue to grow her coaching practice and help others find self-sufficiency through business ownership. “It allows me to help many people, and still be able to be a very active community volunteer, which is important to me,” she added. “I believe I will keep coaching well into the future. I’m always learning, and as long as I can add value to other people – I intend to keep going!”
